4/17/2023 0 Comments Mortal kombat 12 roster leak![]() ![]() There are two new characters: Cetrion and the Kollector. While there are many staples, 5 of the 8 new characters introduced in X are returning (Jacqui, D'Vorah, Cassie, Kotal Khan & Erron Black) more than I thought would return. That said, Godzilla would be a fine addition to Mortal Kombat, with his atomic breath and iconic finishers fitting right in.It seems the full roster of the new game has leaked. The King of Monsters may be a little too big to fight Sub Zero and Liu Kang, but we’re willing to shrink him down, which is totally acceptable if we were to replicate his original rubber suit look. Letting players actually use the Dark Lord’s arsenal of vicious magical spells against Mortal Kombat’s roster would be a delight. While the Harry Potter series is targeted at a younger audience, it is without a shadow of a doubt that series antagonist Voldemort has done some heinous things throughout the wizarding world. While he may be more well known these days as the assassin John Wick, Neo’s brand of cyber kung fu is probably a lot cooler to see when facing Mortal Kombat’s world of weather-controlling ninjas and four-armed demons. What was once a pipe dream is now reality as The Matrix is back with an all-new film with Keanu Reeves back as the all-powerful Neo. His inexperience as a combatant should be highlighted in his moveset, though that doesn’t mean he won’t be brutal when the going gets tough. This plucky young superhero has already starred in a successful animated series and is set to have his own live-action movie, so Mortal Kombat should strike the iron while it's hot and feature Invincible as a fighter. While not as ruthless as Robocop or Rambo, his inner turmoil with androids could be replicated with Mortal Kombat’s own cyborg fighters like Sektor and Cyrax. That said, having a purely monstrous fighter would be awesome, especially since Mortal Kombat did it before with the Xenomorph as a fighter.Īs much as Harrison Ford is known for his iconic roles as Han Solo and Indiana Jones, his recent return as the bounty hunter Rick Dekard in Blade Runner 2049 should be commemorated with a playable cameo. These sonically sensitive monsters may not have a name, but they are arguably the most iconic monsters to grace the silver screen, with the interdimensional horrors seen in Stranger Things coming in second place. His blatant disregard for human life is already a close approximation of Injustice’s version of Superman, so having this frightful superhero pulling off Fatalities is truly a no-brainer. If Superman is somehow off the table for an appearance in the next Mortal Kombat, then Homelander from The Boys would easily fit the bill. Since they are featured in first-party Sony games, Joel and Ellie could work as exclusive characters to the PlayStation version of an upcoming Mortal Kombat game. ![]() While they are technically video game characters first, the upcoming HBO adaptation of The Last of Us might just cement this post-apocalyptic duo as cultural icons of the future. Serving as the basis for Solid Snake from Metal Gear, Snake Plissken could be a more brutal take on Solid Snake’s moveset from the Super Smash Bros. The main hero of John Carpenter’s cult classic action films, Escape from New York and Escape from LA, Snake Plissken was portrayed by Kurt Russell, who brought a cynical charm to the anti-hero. ![]() One that leans more towards Mortal Kombat 11’s take on The Joker’s mischievous trickery with the speed and agility of Yoda from Soul Calibur IV. film and its 1990 sequel, the Mogwai race of impish troublemakers could make for an interesting fighter. Whether they’re from horror films, ‘80s blockbusters, or more recent cultural icons, here are ten characters we think should be guest characters in the next Mortal Kombat video game. ![]()
